Pack The House!

Wow what a terrific night for Jim Meyer, Andy Tipton, Mike Kotlar, and the Ramquoits Pride. The night started with the Ref’s being late. Then, these being Ref’s we haven’t had, we put up 14:00 minutes on the clock, the Ref’s said 15:00 minutes.  Considering our last game was 15:00 minutes at Loyola, I figured OK, more playing time. I apologize for the confusion! I should have pointed it out in the beginning. That being said let’s see what happened.

After 12:00 minutes into the first, Our Pride of Ramquoits drew first blood at 3:12! Kyle Marcangelo scored on an assist from John Schreader, as well as Eddie Hall. Then the next line scored less than one minute later. Randy Johnson scored on a pass from Mike Roel to Wes Letto.

Wow end of the first period up 2-0 against a 16-0 team that we gave two power plays.

The second period showed some power on their part, Eddie Williams held off the Mustangs for over 2:30 into the second with a shutout. The Mustangs were able to get one by at 13:26. Eddie continued to hold them off until a power play goal scored with only 2 seconds left on the power play to tie it up.

Then with 3:27 left in the second Randy Johnson scores what turns out to be the game winner with an assist from Sal Sisco and Wes Letto!

At the end with three more minutes than we are used to Jim, Andy, Mike were able to hold off the Mustangs despite a six on three then a six on four right to the end of the game! Talk about a nail biter, anyone with fingers left? I don’t have any! We also have to give Eddie Williams the credit for over 29 saves versus their 12.

Wow; We want to Rock The House again as we carry our Pride into the Thanks Giving Tournament.
